Parkdale allows you to read and write the speed of your solid devices and CDrom and network servers. You can start a velocity test for discs, CDrom and network shares. You get the transmission speed to KB or MB per second.
You can also adjust the block size used to access the disc. Several team line options are available. All options are shown if the program starts “-?”. The program has two modes: blockaccess – the test data is read on the disk or recorded directly without using the file system. FILEACcess – Test data is read in the default file or to record for them using a file system.
Click Speed Test Using a file system. This test shows a consistent reading and writing speed and random access speed using 4kb blocks and 32 parallel chains.
